Position: Traveling Construction Workers

DMH Solar, one of the premier solar subcontractors on the east coast, is currently seeking dedicated individuals who are ready to embark on a dynamic journey, traveling across different states as integral members of our thriving team. Demonstrating your competency in performing repetitive daily tasks with meticulous attention to detail, even in the absence of constant supervision, will be a crucial aspect of the role.

As the nature of the work is physically demanding, you must be capable of independently lifting weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds with assistance. Your work schedule will consist of 10 to 11 hours per day, spanning 3 to 4 days a week (subject to weather conditions). It is important to note that the entirety of this role will be conducted outdoors, exposing you to various extreme weather conditions throughout the duration of the workday.

Job Duties

  • Install Solar Arrays in accordance with codes and standards, using drawings, schematics, and instructions from crew lead
  • Assemble solar components with construction crew lead
  • Working outdoors up to 10 hours a day (year-round)
  • Heavy lifting consistently throughout the day
  • Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA standards
  • Work with the construction crew lead and other members of the construction crew in a professional manner
  • Work with the construction crew to clean the work area and prevent leaving any trash or tools behind
  • Work with the construction crew to ensure all required parts to complete that day’s work are stocked and available on the truck/trailer
  • Maintain high quality control on tools, vehicles and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
  • Willing to Travel to NY, MD, PA, DC

Candidates with previous experience in construction, installation, solar, roofing, demolition, carpentry encouraged to apply!

Shift and Payrate:

  • Monday-Thursday (10 hours) $19 to start, $21 after two weeks
  • Thursday-Sunday (11 hours) $21 to start, $23 after two week

Travel Pay:

  • $15.00 per hour for drivers
  • $7.75 per hour for Passengers
  • $45 per day per Diem for Meals
  • Paid Lodging (varies)
